WEBApr 23, 2022 · In short, yes, Hosea was a bad guy, and he did do more bad than good. None of the gang did good for anyone except themselves. And yes, I feel that Hosea was in part responsible for the Braitwaites kidnapping Jack (personally, I think Brontë should have immediately sold Jack to Fusar…). The whole scenario with the 2 families is idiotic.

WEBApr 28, 2022 · Hosea was definitely my second favorite character behind Arthur. He was the true voice of reason and put a check on Dutch. I think he also helped to prevent Arthur from becoming the monster that Dutch eventually became. He was like a typical old wise man.

WEBNov 10, 2018 · If you cannot give the book to Hosea it’s likely because you are at a point in the story where he is used in a quest. After playing through said quest I was able to give him the book. At least that is how it worked for me. I am having an issue where I cannot pick up the book. I am only on chapter 3.

WEBOct 14, 2022 · Hosea is a con man, yes. However, he’s not a murderer, at least not in cold blood, anyway. It’s a standard he and Dutch hold themselves to and try to do the same with others. The only difference is Dutch either loses his grip on it or he always was a cold-blooded murder who just got bad at hiding it.
