Some rivalries just run deep. Buffalo Bills star offensive tackle Dion Dawkins has expressed his displeasure with the New York Jets just before the season started. In fact, Dawkins has explicitly said he "hates" their cross-town rivals.

The Buffalo Bills will not face off against Robert Saleh in Week 6, as he's been fired by the New York Jets. A portion of the national football media’s attention has been centered on the Buffalo Bills in recent days due to the way in which they handled the clock in the final moments of their Week 5 loss to the Houston Texans.

Based on his feelings about the Jets, it should come as no surprise that Dawkins poked fun at the team after they fired head coach Robert Saleh on Tuesday. Dawkins went to X, formerly Twitter, and shared a brief message. Dawkins could have written, “I told you so,” but he got his point across less than two hours after the Jets moved on from Saleh.
