Tyrod Taylor took over in the fourth quarter and at least showed a spark, even if it was against the Bills backups. Taylor finished 11 for 14 for 83 yards and two touchdowns. Garrett Wilson led the Jets receivers with seven receptions for 66 yards, a touchdown and a fumble on eight targets. Whether he’s happy about that… is another story.
Scoreboard watching: Though the Jets have nothing to play for, the Dolphins still have a shot at making the playoffs, but they will need some help. They need to win and have the Chiefs beat the Broncos. Both games start at 4:25 p.m., so the Dolphins may be checking the MetLife scoreboard for updates.
