The winter storm system is expected to track across the southwest, making its way to Oklahoma on Thursday and Friday.

This afternoon, highs will reach the upper 20s and lower 30s in the northern sections, and possibly slightly above freezing in southeastern Oklahoma. A weak wave nearby may occasionally produce a few clouds mixed with sunshine.

The forecast for snow across Oklahoma has been updated for later this week. KOCO 5 Meteorologist Michael Armstrong says light snow flurries could move into parts of western and central Oklahoma on early Thursday morning. But the threat for accumulating snow likely won't start until after 3 p.m.
