NHL is announcing the first and second quarter-century teams for each franchise that's existed since 2000, as voted by a panel of media, retired players and executives specific to that club. These players are judged to have been the best for their team in the past 25 years as the NHL world honors their accomplishments since the beginning of the new millennium.

The National Hockey League is celebrating the first 25 years of the century by naming each franchise’s best team in that timespan and the Blue Jackets’ squad was named Thursday. Columbus’ quarter-century teams consist of the best players who suited up for the CBJ since 2000.
