Wrexham are through to the knock-out stages of the EFL Trophy after a convincing 3-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers Under-21s with one game remaining in the group. Manager Phil Parkinson made 11 changes from the side that started Saturday's 4-1 win in League One against Northampton Town,

Wolves under-21s were beaten comprehensively at Wrexham in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy. In a fairly subdued start to the game, Wolves were relatively comfortable in possession throughout the early stages. But a foul by Wes Okoduwa handed the hosts the chance to whip in a free-kick and Seb Revan’s cross was met by Mo Faal, who headed over.

Wolves under-21s were well-beaten at Wrexham in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy on Tuesday evening. Lewis Brunt, Paul Mullin and Mo Faal scored the goals at the Racecourse Ground as the League One side secured the group stage points.
