After taking a 1-0 series lead in Game 1, the Guardians look to keep it going against Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal in Game 2 of the ALDS.

Angel Martinez is the lone surprise on the position player side. The Guardians are carrying Daniel Schneemann and Tyler Freeman as utility players. Manager Stephen Vogt noted that Freeman had looked good in Triple-A to end the year and then had some good at-bats, after making some adjustments, over the last week in Cleveland.

Tarik Skubal has taken the ball following Detroit Tigers loss 13 times — with Tigers going 9-4 in those starts. ALDS Game 2 vs. Guardians is No. 14.
