Stefon Diggs had his first meeting with his former team on Sunday as the Houston Texans were able to beat Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, 23-20, in dramatic fashion at home. Diggs spent the last four seasons with the Bills before being traded to the Texans this past offseason.

The Bills were, almost poetically, without Khalil Shakir, their top receiver. It left the Bills without a single player who caught a regular season pass from Allen in 2023. And those receivers didn’t add much on Sunday, even with a depleted Bills defense giving them one chance after another to take hold of the game.

Stefon Diggs led the Texans in receptions and yards, then admitted that he was emotional after the win, because beating his old team meant a lot to him.
