Slowly but surely, the Denver Broncos have crawled out from a horrendous start to the season to announce themselves as a potential playoff team after three big wins in a row behind the arm of their rookie quarterback in Bo Nix. Against the divisional rival Las Vegas Raiders, Nix put on his best performance to date.

Lowlight: The play of the game fell apart in the third quarter. With 1:46 left, Nix launched the ball into the end zone to a wide-open Franklin — who dropped the touchdown catch. The ball was slightly overthrown but it was a catchable pass that should’ve resulted in six points.

Such was the case of the Denver Broncos on Sunday, with rookie quarterback Bo Nix seen in a heated sideline exchange with head coach Sean Payton while his team led the rival Las Vegas Raiders late in the third quarter.
