Entrance is IDR4,000, and optional insurance is IDR8,000, making it about US$1 for day-pass. The special monkey exhibit is an additional IDR9,000. There are several options for tours and packages, which I have never tried and cannot recommend from personal experience (see triphobo). I would advise you to bring your own food and water, since prices inside the zoo are much higher, especially for non-local tourists. The zoo is located directly across from the Ragunan bus terminal. Using TransJakarta buses requires a "Flazz" card pass, which can be purchased at any bus shelter - minimum IDR20,000. Bus trips are IDR3,500 each trip. Hope that helps.
